The Gratiot County Road Commission is accepting applications for a Full Time Heavy Duty Truck and Equipment Mechanic Position. This position requires a current valid State of Michigan Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Group A and N endorsement.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

Notice of a special election of directors for the Gratiot Conservation District
To all residents of Gratiot County, notice is hereby given that a special election of board directors for the Gratiot Conservation District will be held on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026.
The following individuals are up for election:
Bonnie Gustavison, of Perrinton, MI — appointed to Seat B in August 2025; now up for election to that seat.
Marissa Clark-Baily, of Alma, MI, was appointed to fill a vacancy in Seat C in July 2025 and is now up for election to that seat.
Yvette Franco-Clark, of Alma, MI, was appointed to fill a vacancy in Seat E in July 2025 and is now up for election to that seat.
All residents of Gratiot County, eighteen years and older, are encouraged to vote. Absentee Ballots can be picked up at the Gratiot Conservation District Office, 301 E. Commerce Dr., Ithaca, MI 48847 (the office on the east side of the building), up to one week prior to election day. Per State Conservation Law, a valid driver’s license is required to vote.


NOTICE – PUBLIC LAND AUCTION

The Gratiot County Treasurer will offer tax- reverted real estate at public auction on August 7th, 2026.
The auction will be held online at www.tax-sale.info from 10:00am to 7:00pm EDT. Bids can also be placed up to 30 days in advance on the website, and assistance is available for those without computer or internet access.
Incomplete or voided sales from August 7th, 2026, auction, if any, will be re-offered online at www.tax-sale.info on September 25th, 2026, from 10:00am to 7:00 pm EDT.
Unsold tax reverted real estate from either of the previous auctions will be re-offered online at www.tax-sale.info on October 30th, 2026. All bids must be placed by 7:00 pm EDT for this auction.

Please take notice that the SEVILLE TOWNSHIP Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during a special meeting of the Planning Commission to be held at the Seville Township Hall, located at 7676 W Lincoln Road, Elwell, MI 48832 on July 7, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in accordance with Act 33 of 2008, MCL 125.3801 et. seq. The purpose of this public hearing is to provide an opportunity for residents and interested citizens to express their opinions, ask questions, and discuss all aspects of the proposed Gratiot Countywide Master Plan to be adopted as SEVILLE TOWNSHIP’s master plan.
