NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE GRATIOT CONSERVATION DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors for the Gratiot Conservation District will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026.

Date: Friday, September 18, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM
Location: USDA Service Center Boardroom,
           301 E Commerce Dr., Ithaca, MI 48847
Purpose of the Hearing
The purpose of this meeting is to receive public comment on the proposed budget prior to final adoption by the Board of Directors. Citizens attending the hearing have the right to provide written or oral comments regarding any part of the proposed budget.
Budget Availability
A copy of the complete proposed budget is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Gratiot Conservation District Office located at 301 E Commerce Dr., Ithaca, MI 48847.
Interested citizens are encouraged to attend and express their views. This meeting will be held in accordance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act. For individuals requiring special accommodations to participate, please contact the District Manager at 989-875-3900 X 3009 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
