City of Ithaca Residents and Interested Parties

Site Plan Review

The City of Ithaca Planning Commission will hold a Regular Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM or as soon thereafter for a Site Plan Review as submitted by Hirsch Holding LLC.; for review of the proposed construction of an accessory building (50’x80’) on property located at 1102 Industrial Parkway, Avenue A. (identified as parcel 52-060-065-51).

Special Use Permit

The City of Ithaca Planning Commission will hold a Regular Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM or as soon thereafter for a Special Use Permit as submitted by Jamie Litwiller; for approval of an accessory building (10’x16’) on property located at 711 E Center Street. (identified as parcel 52-801-004-00).

If unable to attend, written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk by 4:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2023 at City Hall or e-mailed to clerk@ithacami.com.

NOTICE OF DAY OF REVIEW OF DRAINAGE DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

AND DAY OF REVIEW OF APPORTIONMENTS

The Day of Review of Drainage District Boundaries is an opportunity to review the Drainage District boundaries of the Drains listed below. A map of the proposed Drainage District boundary revisions can be found on the Gratiot County website at: www.gratiotmi.com/201/Drain-Commissioner. The Drain Commissioner, engineers, and/or other staff members will be available to assist individuals throughout the day and make revisions where necessary.  Please call ahead to schedule an appointment for a specific time on the Day of Review.

A general description of the lands by section number proposed to be added or deleted from the Drainage Districts as recommended by a licensed professional engineer or surveyor for each of the Drains is as follows:

The computation of costs for the Drains listed above will also be available at the Day of Review. Drain assessments are collected in the same manner as property taxes and will appear on your winter tax bill. If drain assessments are being collected for more than one (1) year, you may pay the assessment in full with any interest to date at any time and avoid further interest charges.  We will start accepting payments after November 29, 2023.

Persons with disabilities needing accommodations for effective participation in the Day of Review should contact the Gratiot County Drain Commissioner’s Office at the number listed above or through the Michigan Relay Center at 7-1-1 (TDD) at least 24 hours in advance of the Day of Review to request mobility, visual, hearing or other assistance.

You may appeal the Drain Commissioner’s decision to revise the district boundary to the Gratiot County Circuit Court within ten (10) days. You also may appeal the Drain Commissioner’s determination of apportionments to the Gratiot County Probate Court within ten (10) days.

  • A map of the lands constituting the drainage district.
  • The Notice of Letting that includes:
    • Number and length of sections, the average width of each section, and if the drain will be closed, the amount and specifications of all tile or pipe required;
    • Location, number, type, and size of culverts or bridges to be installed, if any; and
    • Conditions upon which the contract will be awarded.
