Public Notice of Special Meeting and Public Hearing: The Gratiot County Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, April 29th, 2025 at 5:00pm in the Board of Commissioner’s Room Level 1 of Gratiot County Courthouse 214 E. Center Rd., Ithaca, MI 48847 regarding Proposed Text Amendment: To add the existing language in Chapter 16 Special Land Uses Section 16.7 JJ. “Theaters, or similar places of public assembly” as a Use Permitted by Special Land Use in Chapter 4. Agricultural District Section 4.4 Special Land Uses. The proposed text amendment application can be viewed in the Community Development office during regular business hours at 214 E. City of Ithaca Property Owners
Pursuant to The City of Ithaca Code of Ordinances Section 38-42 and Section 38-114 notice is hereby given to all owners of property within the City of Ithaca that all unpaid invoices, water and sewer rates, charges and fees which have remained unpaid for a period of three (3) months or more as of April 1, 2026 which have not been paid by April 30, 2026, will be transferred to the City’s tax roll and assessed against in the property to which the water was supplied or furnished, and such unpaid rates or charges accrued shall be collected with and in the same manner as city taxes are collected, and if such rates or charges shall remain delinquent and unpaid after the expiration of the time limit in the warrant for the collection of taxes levied in such roll, such charges shall be returned to the county treasurer to be collected in the same manner as the lien created by the city taxes on the delinquent tax roll of the city.

Public Notice
AT&T Mobility, LLC is proposing to modify an existing wireless
telecommunications facility on an existing Water Tank located at 350 West Arcada Street, Ithaca, Gratiot County, Michigan 48847. The modifications will consist of installing antennas at varying centerline heights not to exceed 133ft 4in on the existing 138-foot-tall water tank. Public Notice of Noxious Weed and Tall Grass Control
City of Ithaca Property Owners
Take notice that the City of Ithaca City Charter (Chapter II, Section A., 2.a.) and the International Property Maintenance Code (Section 302.4) provide that all noxious weeds and grasses be controlled to not exceed eight (8) inches of height on any property in the City of Ithaca. The codes require all property owners to keep their grasses and noxious weeds trimmed to be in compliance with these codes. Any grasses or weeds that are found to be in violation of the code(s) may be trimmed by the City if the owner has not cut the weeds and grasses after proper notification to the owner. The City of Ithaca hereby notifies all property owners, tenants and the public that noxious weeds and grasses shall be eradicated by cutting them and keeping them to a height of less than eight (8) inches. Weeds and grasses not cut by May 1, 2026 will be cut by the City as many times as shall be necessary, and the owner of the property upon which such noxious weeds and grasses are found shall be charged with the cost thereof and the City shall have a lien against the land for the amount thereof. Refusal to destroy noxious weeds and cut grasses are a municipal infraction punishable by a civil fine pursuant to the provisions of Section 1-7 of the City of Ithaca Code of Ordinances.
