Nominations Requested for Spirit of St. Louis Award

The Middle of the Mitten Association and Spirit of St. Louis Committee would like to invite nominations for their annual Person of the Year Award for 2022, known as the Spirit of St. Louis Award.
Any resident of the St. Louis area can be nominated for the award. Criteria for selection is based on exemplary personal behavior, success in one’s own profession, community participation, leadership and inspirational qualities.
This prestigious award has been given annually now for over 50 years and last year’s recipient was Linda Bader.
Nomination applications can picked up at St. Louis City Hall at 300 North Mill Street or requested by e-mailing phansen@stlouismi.com. Deadline for nomination forms to be returned to City Hall is March 17 at 4 p.m.
The award is presented annually as one of the highlights of the Gratiot Area Chamber’s Community Celebration, this year to be held on May 4. All nominations must be submitted in writing and the winner is selected by a committee of past recipients.
