Memorial Day
In memory of our heros a Memorial Day Ceremony & Parade. The public is invited to join V.F.W. Post 7805 & American Legion Post 334 on Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m. to honor all Veterans with a parade starting at Jeffery & Center Streets to the All-Wars Memorial at the Ithaca courthouse lawn. Following the service, the Veteran groups will go to the Ithaca and North Star cemeteries. A 21-gun ceremonial firing will occur following taps. Join us in remembering & honoring all who served.
The Alma VFW Post 1454 will gather at the military section at the south end of Riverside Cemetery on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, at noon, to conduct a special ceremony. The community is urged to attend this event, with arrival requested by 11:45 a.m.
The City of St. Louis will gather to observe Memorial Day with a parade and a lunch event. The procession begins at 10 a.m. Ceremonies will take place at the Mill Street Bridge and Oak Grove Cemetery. After the parade, a community lunch will be hosted at the St. Louis VFW Post #3055, located at 1295 West Monroe Road (M-46).
Craft, Garage & Bake Sale
