University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Carson Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is increasing access to orthopedic services for hand surgery and total joint services for the Carson City-area community.
Orthopedic providers Jamie Furness, M.D., and Paull Cameron Gossett, M.D., have joined Alicia Ballard, D.O., Michael Vaccariello, M.D., and Angela Beckhold, PA-C, in providing care and performing surgeries at UM Health-Sparrow Carson Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, 245 S. Second St., Carson City.
Furness is a fellowship-trained hand surgeon specializing in the treatment of hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital and completed a hand surgery fellowship at Mary S. Stern Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship in Cincinnati.
Gossett is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint replacements. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Corewell Health West Michigan and completed his adult reconstruction fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
