SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY
Pine River Township will be holding their Spring Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, from 8am-Noon at the Pine River Township Hall, located at 1495 W Monroe Rd., St. Louis, MI 48880. This clean-up day is for Pine River Township property owners only. Proof of residency is required. City of Ithaca
The City of Ithaca City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 7:00pm, for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing to take comment on the proposed EGLE Drinking Water State Revolving Fund project from interested persons. The meeting will be located at 129 W. Emerson Street, Ithaca, MI 48847.
The purpose of the proposed project is to improve water reliability, improve water quality, replace suspected lead service lines to improve the redundancy of the water system.
Project construction will involve water main replacements on Union Street and North Street.
Impacts of the proposed project include water main replacement on Union Street from Center Street to Arcada Street and a new water main on North Street from Maple Street to the east side of Pine River Street. The new water main on North Street will likely require a jack and bore under N. Pine River (MDOT requirement).
The estimated cost to users for the proposed project will be $2,243,000 total project cost, which is approximately $5.26 per month over the life span of the loan.
A copy of the plan detailing the proposed project is available for inspection at the following location: Ithaca City Hall, 129 W. Emerson Street, Ithaca, MI 48847. Written comments received before the meeting record is closed May 21, 2024 at 4:00pm will receive responses in the final project planning document.
