Meeting called to order by Howd at 7:10 pm.
Minutes for January 14th read and approved.
Bills were reviewed and approved for payment.
Fowler working on getting escrow accounts set up
Mikek stated that he is working with Chris at Fahey’s office to set up joint meeting on Thursday, March 27th
Invenergy gave presentation on Battery Energy Storage System
Neal with Vestaburg Sand & Gravel – they have altered the spec of the gravel to get a better product
Resolution 2025-2: Resolution Adopting Poverty Exemption Guidelines was passed by Roll Call vote
Resolution 2025-3; Resolution to Renew the Combined Board of Review Interlocal Agreement was passed by Roll Call vote
Resolution 2025-4; Resolution for a Partial Termination of a Farmland Development Rights Agreement with Pre-existing Structure was approved by Roll Call vote
March Budget Meeting will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11th prior to Regular Board Meeting at 7:00 pm.
Teeter provided easement information provided for a new home build.

FULTON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING
Fulton Township gives notice of their upcoming Planning Commission Meeting and Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 at 7:00pm at the Fulton Township Hall, located at 3425 W. Cleveland Rd., Perrinton, MI 48871, to present and deliberate on proposed language to not permit shipping containers/semi-trailers of any type to be used as accessory buildings/structures in R-1 zoning. Additional business items will be to discuss an amendment to the solar ordinance to include battery storage language that will not permit commercial grid storage batteries or capacitor banks that store or return supplemental power to the grid, with an inclusion of allowing the use of batteries in commercial applications only for emergency backup for safety lighting and related computer infrastructures.
The public hearing is open to the public. Comments or concerns may be presented in person, by counsel, by personal representative or by letter. A copy of the Planning Commission’s December 2024 meeting minutes, which includes the above proposed language changes, are available for viewing at the Fulton Township Hall during regular business hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9am-12 noon and 1-4 pm.
Written comments or complaints may be sent to Fulton Township, PO Box 68, Perrinton, MI 48871 and must be received prior to the public hearing. Fulton Township will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities. Persons needing such services should contact the township office not less than five days before the public hearing.
