Lawn Mowing Bids Sought

Wheeler Township

The Wheeler Township Board of Trustees will be taking bids for lawn mowing and trimming for the 2024 season. The bid should include mowing and trimming at the Township Hall area & ball diamond area, the Wheeler Township Cemetery, the Cross Children’s Memorial Park in Wheeler and one small lot that the Township owns. Bids should cover the entire cost for the whole 2024 mowing season and can be dropped off at the Twp office or submitted to:

TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Commission for Seville Township, Gratiot County, Michigan will hold a special meeting and public hearing on March 12, 2024, at 7 p.m., at the Township Hall at 8143 W. Madison Road, Elwell, MI 48832. The purpose of the special meeting and public hearing will be to consider an amendment to the Township Zoning Ordinance to change the penalty for a violation of the Ordinance from a misdemeanor to a civil infraction, Fence Ordinance, Special Land Use Permit for small/private ground-mounted residential solar energy facilities installation, and to consider an application for a ground-mounted private solar energy system, and to consider any other Planning Commission business that may come before the Planning Commission.

A copy of the proposed ordinance may be obtained at Township Hall during regular business hours, and the Township may charge a reasonable fee for copies. Written comments may be submitted at 8143 W. Madison Road, Elwell 48832 during normal business hours up until the time of the public hearing.

This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services who are planning to attend the meeting should notify the Planning Commission Secretary, Ralph Ward, at (989) 395-8112 within a reasonable time in advance of the meeting.
