PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE OF MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that on September 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the Seville Township Planning Commission will hold a meeting at the Seville Township Hall, 7676 W. Lincoln Road, Elwell, MI 48832. The purpose of this meeting is to consider any business that may come before the Planning Commission and to hold a public hearing on a Special Land Use Permit for a construction project located at 11297 N Rich Road, Alma, MI 48801.
Copies of the request are available for inspection by appointment at the Township Hall. Written comments regarding the building request may be submitted to the Planning Commission until 5:00 p.m. on September 9, 2025, at the Township Hall.
This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976, as amended (Open Meetings Act), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and published in compliance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, 2006 P.A. 110. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services who are planning to attend the meeting should notify Ann Moomey, Township Clerk, at (989) 763-7689 within a reasonable time in advance of the date of the hearing.

FULTON TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR VACANCY
Applications are currently being accepted for Fulton Township Supervisor. Candidates must reside in Fulton Township and be a registered voter. Duties and responsibilities include: Board of Review Secretary, presides over monthly and special board meetings, serves as township budget developer and overseer, directs the outside work of the Department of Public Works, is the legal agent for the township, and also serves as the township’s Zoning Administrator among other responsibilities. Softball Field & Backstop w/ overhang
– Remove and dispose of existing backstop and field fence
– Furnish and install softball field fencing
o 805’ of 72” tall fence
o 2-4’ wide x 72” tall walk gates to match fence
o 1-10’ wide x 72’ tall double drive gate to match fence
– Furnish and install softball backstop w/ overhang
o 14’ tall
o Center to be 20’ wide with the wings being 10’ wide and includes an overhang
– We would like to move the outfield fence in so measurements might not be exact
Baseball Field & Backstop w/ overhang
– Remove and dispose of existing backstop and field fence
– Furnish and install baseball field fencing
o Approx 1136’ of 72” tall fence
o 2-4’ wide x 72” tall walk gates to match fence
o 1-16’ wide x 72’ tall double drive gate to match fence
– Furnish and install softball backstop w/ overhang
o 14’ tall
o Center to be 30’ wide with the wings being 10’ wide and includes an overhang
– We would like to move the backstop and possibly outfield in closer so measurements might not be exact
Football field/Track Fence
– Remove and dispose of approx. 1627’ of existing chain link and gates
– Furnish and install fence
o Approx 1627’ of 48” tall fence
o 2-4’ wide x 48” tall walk gates to match fence
o 3-10’ wide x 48” tall double drive gate to match fence
Parking Lot Fence
– Remove and dispose of Approx 407’ of existing chain link and gates
– Furnish and install parking lot fence
o Approx 407’ of 72” tall fence
o 1-20’ wide x 72’ tall double drive gate to match fence
South End Fencing
– Remove and dispose of Approx 467’ of existing 72” and 48” fencing and gates
– Furnish and install south end fence
o 420’ of 48” tall fence and 50’ of 72” tall fence
o 1-4’ wide x 48” tall walk gates to match fence
o 1-20’ wide x 72’ tall double drive gate to match fence
We do have 3 batting cages as well we would like to see pricing on for fencing those in. They are the normal size of a batting cage – we may or may not include it in the final project
We would like all the fencing to be black vinyl coated chain link if possible
