Notice of Drainage Board Meeting
For Determination of Necessity
BIDDINGER INTERCOUNTY DRAIN
(Gratiot and Clinton Counties)
DATE:      August 28, 2024
TIME:      10:00 a.m.
LOCATION:      Rainbow Lakes Maintenance Corporation
     4553 Rainbow Lake Road, Perrinton, Michigan
The Biddinger Intercounty Drain Drainage Board will meet at the above date, time and location to hear all interested persons, receive evidence and determine whether the maintenance and improvement, as set forth in the petition dated October 4, 2023, is necessary and conducive to the public health, convenience, or welfare; and further, to determine whether it is necessary to revise the boundaries of the Drainage District pursuant to Chapter 8 of Public Act 40 of 1956, as amended.
Proceedings conducted at this public meeting will be subject to the provisions of the Michigan Open Meetings Act. Written comments may be submitted prior to the meeting, or additional information may be obtained from the following offices:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT

The New Haven Township (“Township”) Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at a meeting on August 27, 2024, at 6:00 P.M., at the New Haven Township Hall, 3027 S. Warner Road, Sumner, MI 48889, to consider two proposed amendments to the Township’s Zoning Ordinance.
If adopted, the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments would, in summary, add regulations for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar Energy Systems. Copies of the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments are available upon request by appointment at the Township Hall, 3027 S. Warner Road, Sumner, MI 48889. Written comments on the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment will be received at the Township Hall by appointment, up to and including the day of the public hearing including by mail using the address below. Please contact the Township Hall using the information below to coordinate submitting written comments by e-mail (if necessary) or to obtain copies of the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment. Oral comments on the proposed amendment may also be made at the public hearing.
The Township will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities. Persons needing such services should kindly contact the office of the Township Clerk by writing or calling the Clerk not less than four (4) days before the public hearing using the contact information below.
