[private]Ithaca lost to Hemlock last Wednesday, 9-7 and 13-3.
Ivy Davenport had three hits for the Yellowjackets in the first game, while Megan Mankey, Kennedi Ryan and Myah Maurer had two apiece.
Ryan took the loss on the mound for Ithaca.
Lauryn Humphrey and Emmalee Shankel had two hits each for Ithaca in the second game. Ryan, Madison Carman, Faith Fisher and Alyssa McPherson had hits for Ithaca.
Humphrey took the loss.
Ithaca split with Lutheran Seminary, losing the first game 2-0 and winning the second 8-4.
Davenport went all seven innings to earn the win, striking out nine.
She was helped at the plate by Humphrey, Carman and McPherson with two hits apiece. Ryan, Shankel and Fisher also had hits.
Davenport was strong in the first game too, giving up just one hit and fanning nine MLS batters in the shutout loss
Davenport, Mankey, Shankel and McPherson had the Jackets’ hits.
Ithaca had little trouble with Carrollton, sweeping the Cavaliers 11-1 and 15-0.
In the first game, Humphrey struck out five in two innings and Whitmore came in to pitch four innings, striking out four.
Maurer had three hits and Mankey two for the Yellowjackets.
In the 15-0 win, Ryan pitched four innings, giving up just one hit and striking out five.
Ryan helped her own cause with three hits. Mankey had two.[private]
