PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED 2026-2027 BUDGET
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on June 22, 2026 at 6:00 o’clock p.m. at 8060 Ely Highway, Middleton, in the Penny Bearden Media Center of the High School, the Board of Education of Fulton Schools will hold a public hearing to consider the District’s proposed 2026-2027 budget.
The board may not adopt its proposed 2026-2027 budget until after a public hearing. A copy of the proposed 2026-2027 budget, including the proposed porperty tax millage rate, is available for public inspection during the normal business hours at Fulton Administration Office, 8060 Ely Highway, Middleton, Michigan.
The propert tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

Cleveland Rd., Perrinton, MI 48871 in accordance with Act 33 of 2008, MCL 125.3801 et. seq. The purpose of this public hearing is to provide an opportunity for residents and interested citizens to express their opinions, ask questions, and discuss all aspects of the proposed Gratiot Countywide Master Plan to be considered for its adoption. Written comments may be received up to June 22nd, 2026, by directing any comments to Denise Rossman, PO Box 68, Perrinton, MI 48871 or by email.
You may obtain or review a copy of the proposed Gratiot Countywide Master Plan at Fulton Township Office during our regular business hours: Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. You may also review and download a copy of the proposed Master Plan at: bit.ly/DraftGCMP25 . Fulton Township will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities. Individuals needing such services should contact the phone number above or utilize the Michigan Relay Service at 7-1-1 (TDD) to request accommodation to attend the public hearing at least 72 hours prior to the public hearing.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

Notice of a special election of directors for the Gratiot Conservation District
To all residents of Gratiot County, notice is hereby given that a special election of board directors for the Gratiot Conservation District will be held on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026.
The following individuals are up for election:
Bonnie Gustavison, of Perrinton, MI — appointed to Seat B in August 2025; now up for election to that seat.
Marissa Clark-Baily, of Alma, MI, was appointed to fill a vacancy in Seat C in July 2025 and is now up for election to that seat.
Yvette Franco-Clark, of Alma, MI, was appointed to fill a vacancy in Seat E in July 2025 and is now up for election to that seat.
All residents of Gratiot County, eighteen years and older, are encouraged to vote. Absentee Ballots can be picked up at the Gratiot Conservation District Office, 301 E. Commerce Dr., Ithaca, MI 48847 (the office on the east side of the building), up to one week prior to election day. Per State Conservation Law, a valid driver’s license is required to vote.
