REQUEST FOR QUOTE

Gratiot County Landfill Mowing and Brush Cutting Services

Gratiot County is seeking quotes from qualified and experienced independent contractors to provide mowing and brush cutting services at the County landfill. The project consists of mowing and brush cutting approximately 82 acres located at the Gratiot County Landfill, situated at the corner of E. Jackson Road and N. Croswell Road in Bethany Township, Michigan. Please refer to Exhibit A.

Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be responsible for:

· Mowing all designated landfill areas
· Brush cutting overgrown vegetation and maintaining clear access areas
· Performing work in a safe and professional manner
· Complying with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations

Contractor Requirements

· Must be an independent contractor
· Must provide all necessary equipment to complete the work
· Must carry and provide proof of liability insurance
· Demonstrated experience with similar large-scale mowing/land management projects is preferred

Submission Requirements

Proposals should include:

· Contractor name, address, and contact information
· Description of relevant experience
· List of equipment to be used
· Proof of insurance
· Proposed pricing structure and timeline for services

Submission Deadline

All proposals must be received by April 8, 2026 at 4:00 pm. Public opening will occur on April 9, 2026 at 4:00pm. Proposals may be submitted by mail, email, or in person to:

Gratiot County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the County.

American Towers LLC is proposing the construction of a 195-ft AGL overall with appurtenances replacement monopole telecommunications tower and to increase the ground space for an existing telecommunications tower compound by 20-ft x 10-ft along with a 30-ft buffer surrounding the current and proposed lease area, south of a portion of West Adams Road, north of the Town of Alma, within Gratiot County, Michigan (Parcel ID:12-009-001-00). American Towers LLC seeks comments from all interested persons on any potential significant impact the proposed action could have on the quality of the human environment pursuant to 47 C.F.R. Section 1.1307, including potential impacts to historic or cultural resources that are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Interested persons may comment or raise concerns about the proposed action by submitting an e- mail to enviro.services@americantower.com. Requests or comments should be limited to environmental and historic/cultural resource impact concerns and must be received within 30 days of this Notice’s publication. 2026 BAY REGION HERBICIDE PROGRAM

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) hereby provides notice to the public, including property owners adjacent to state highways, of the 2026 Herbicide Application Program treatments for roadside rights of way within Arenac, Bay, Clare, Genesee, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Isabella, Lapeer, Midland, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, and Tuscola counties.

SCHEDULED DATES OF APPLICATION:
Applications will take place between April 1, 2026, and December 1, 2026.

HERBICIDES/LOCATIONS:
Non-Selective Applications: (guardrail, pavement/shoulder cracks and edges, barrier walls, concrete bridge slopes, bike/walk trails, invasive plants) ANY INDIVIDUAL OR COMBINATIONS OF THE HERBICIDES LISTED BELOW:
Roundup Pro Concentrate (Glyphosate), Milestone (Aminopyralid), Escort XP (Metsulfuron Methyl), Esplanade 200 SC (Indaziflam), Method 240 SL (Aminocyclopyrachlor), Polaris (Isopropylamine Salt of Imazapyr), Aquamaster/Roundup Custom (Glyphosate),Telar XP (Chlorsulfuron).

Selective Applications: (broadleaf weeds in turf areas, brush control, plant growth regulator, bike/walk trails, invasive plants) ANY INDIVIDUAL OR COMBINATIONS OF THE HERBICIDES LISTED BELOW:

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Applications may be terrestrial, applied by vehicularmounted fixed boom or hand spray gun equipment; or aerial drone applications. The herbicides will be tank-mixed or directly injected for each application.

RE-ENTRY RESTRICTIONS:
Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried.
