The City of Ithaca is accepting applications for a Working Police Chief. This is a hands-on leadership role emphasizing community policing in a small-town environment.
Qualifications:
· Law enforcement leadership experience required
· MCOLES certification required (or ability to obtain)
· Small community policing experience preferred
· Experience with ordinance enforcement
· Comfortable working independently and with city staff, officers, and other personnel
Compensation:
· Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications
· Robust benefits package

Please take notice that the _Arcada Township_ Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during a regular meeting of the Planning Commission to be held at the Arcada Township Hall, located at 3290 W. Tyler Road Alma, MI 48801 on February 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in accordance with Act 33 of 2008, MCL 125.3801 et. seq. The purpose of this public hearing is to provide an opportunity for residents and interested citizens to express their opinions, ask questions, and discuss all aspects of the proposed Gratiot Countywide Master Plan to be adopted as Arcada Township’s master plan. Written comments may be submitted on or before the date of the public hearing by directing any comments to Clerk Laureen Baxter, 1798 N. Ely Highway Alma, MI 48801, and at (989) 620-6272.
