SPECIAL USE APPLICATION
Please take notice that the Planning Commission of Bethany Township will hold a public hearing during a joint meeting of the Township Board and Planning Commission to be held at the Township Hall located at 9958 N. Blair Road, Breckenridge, MI 48916 on March 27th at 5:30 P.M. in accordance with Section 15.6 of the Bethany Township Zoning Ordinance and the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Act 110 of 2006, MCL 125.3101 et. seq. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider SolAmerica Energy, LLC’s (“Applicant”) application for a special use permit and site plan approval to, among other things, construct and operate a proposed solar energy facility (“Project”).
The proposed Project for review and consideration by the Township is generally a proposed community solar energy system. This public hearing will provide an opportunity for residents and interested citizens to express their opinions, ask questions, and discuss all aspects of the request. The property within Bethany Township subject to the request is an approximately 8.13 acre parcel located at 6838 N State Rd, Saint Louis, MI 48880, Parcel ID number 02-031-007-00.
