Absent voter ballots must be mailed to voters no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024. Registered voters may contact their local Clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot. For any other questions relating to the election process, please contact your local clerk, listed above.

All electors who are registered with the township or city clerk in which they reside are eligible to vote at this election. Sample ballots can be found at www.mi.gov/vote. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the township clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.

PUBLIC NOTICE

City of Ithaca Residents and Interested Parties

Site Plan Review

The City of Ithaca Planning Commission will hold a Regular Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 5:00 PM or as soon thereafter for a Site Plan Review as submitted by ZFS Ithaca, LLC; for approval of a proposed accessory building (136’x81’) on their property located at 1266 E Washington Road (identified as parcel 52-005-008-00).

Special Use Permit

The City of Ithaca Planning Commission will hold a Regular Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 5:00 PM or as soon thereafter for a Special Use Permit as submitted by Rob Endter; for approval of an accessory building (16’x40’) on his property located at 613 N Pine River Street (identified as parcel 52-080-019-10).

Bethany Township

Minutes for Regular Meeting on July 9, 2024

Present: Mikek, Fowler, Howd, Devine, Humm

Absent: none

Others: Teeter (Zoning officer), Bunting, Tresha Graham-Mikek, Terry Coyle, Judy Coyle

Meeting called to order by Mikek at 7:00 pm.

· Minutes for June 11th read and approved.

· Bills were reviewed and approved for payment.

· Mikek – Public hearing and Special meeting scheduled for tomorrow night – notices were placed in Morning Sun and Gratiot County Herald

· Mikek – Discussed potential for grant money if solar approved

· Fowler – taxes sent out

· Teeter issued one permit

· Public

o Bunting – provided copy of potential recycling agreement that county may be entering into with Isabella County – she Stated she voted against

· Devine provide additional update on MMWA and Recycling issue. Township could relook at adding back in recycling

· Mikek – still confusion of what the recycling is

· Howd provided list of workers for upcoming Primary Election on August 6th

Minutes for Special Meeting on July 10, 2024

Meeting called to order at 7:57 pm by Mikek

· Board moved that they are in support of the approach set forth in the proposed DTE Zoning Text Amendment with Modifications, to retain certain provisions of the August 2023 ordinance amendments, as reviewed by the Township attorney and as considered by the Planning Commission in deliberation

o DTE Zoning Text Amendment Request and proposed new zoning to be sent to county planning commission

· Board approved Resolution 2024-4 Resolution Recommending Denial of the Proposed Self Support Lattice Tower

· Board approved engagement letter with Spicer Group, Inc

· Board approved one bill that was missed at previous meeting
