Emerson Township and Lafayette Township

Public Act 660 of 2018 allows the governing bodies of 2 or more contiguous cities or townships, by agreement, to appoint a single board of review to serve as the board of review for each of those cities or townships.

Emerson and Lafayette Townships have entered an Interlocal Agreement to approve a Combined Board of Review.

PUBLIC NOTICE:  CITY OF ITHACA

Bid Proposals for Sidewalk Replacement Program Zones 3&4

The City of Ithaca is currently accepting sealed bid proposals for sidewalk replacement.  Bid packages may be picked up at City Hall, 129 W. Emerson Street, Ithaca, Michigan 48847 or may be emailed upon request.  Contact the City Clerk at 989-875-3200 or clerk@ithacami.com to receive an emailed copy of the bid form.  The sidewalk project is for a two-year contract.  This years’ time-line is a September 30, 2024 completion deadline.  For further information, please contact Brandon Smith, Superintendent of Public Works at (989) 875-3200.  Bids will be publicly opened on Friday, March 25, 2024 at 9:00am in the City Hall Council Chamber located at the above address and are to be marked as “Sidewalk Bid”.

The City of Ithaca reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the City of Ithaca.  Bids received after the specified time will not be accepted.  EOE.

NEW HAVEN TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on March 19, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at New Haven Township Hall located at 3027 S. Warner Rd., Sumner, MI 48889 by the New Haven Township Zoning Board of Appeals:

A request for the issuance of a variance to construct a guyed Wireless Communications Tower on a parcel that does not meet current zoning lot size requirements to follow setback requirements. The lot requesting a variance is an approximate 7.1-acre parcel (#09-020-009-01) of Zoning District Agricultural-Rural Residential, proposed parcel location is at the intersection of South Ferris Road and West Bennett Road, within Section 20, New Haven Township, Gratiot County, Michigan.
