My reason in the beginning was simple; to help raise money for a great cause and have fun doing it. I started two years ago along with my co-workers as a team working together to not only

raise money, but awareness for the millions of Americans who have and will be diagnosed with some form of cancer. This year will be my 3rd Relay. I seemed to be one of the few who had

never had the direct effect of cancer in my family and I felt very lucky for that.

I now have a more personal reason; my aunt, a very dear and special part of my family, has recently been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She is fighting the fight as many others have

and do with as much grace and strength as she can muster.

Let us all fight together for everyone to find a cure and to prevent others from being diagnosed with cancer.
