Dave Briggs, president of the Breckenridge-Wheeler Historical Society, points out the new LED lighting at the Plank Road Museum. The lights were part of a project that was made possible by a grant from the Gratiot County Community Foundation. It also helped fund the installation of air conditioning in the Drake Memorial House and the repair of two ceilings in the museum. The society’s board thanks the foundation for the funds that made the improvements possible.
