To the Editor:

Town and Country Recreation in Ithaca and the 300 Bowl in Alma made a very big contribution to their local pantries last month. We had a great time and would like to thank everyone for their generosity. We also would like to thank our bowling establishments for their time, patience and a place to store our goods before we turned them over to the pantries.

The Alma women say they are ready to do it again next year, and I think it’s a very good idea, too.
