NOTICE OF REVIEW OF APPORTIONMENTS
Notice is hereby given, that on Wednesday, the 31st day of March, 2010, at the Drain Office, Courthouse in the City of Ithaca, County of Gratiot, an assessment will be levied on Drain No. 291 for maintenance work, which has been done in the past and will be subject to review for one day, from 9:00 o'clock in the forenoon until 5:00 'clock in the afternoon.
The following consolidated descriptions of the Special Assessment District of said Drain, Viz:
County of Gratiot at Large
Arcada Township at Large
Sumner Township at Large
Arcada Township Sections: 7, 8, 17 and 18 a part of each
Sumner Township Sections: 12 and 13 a part of each
Now therefore, All unknown and non-resident persons, owners and persons interested in the above described lands and you - Carol Vernon, Gratiot County Clerk; Chairman Gratiot County Road Commission; Douglas Merchant, Arcada Township Supervisor; Ronald Hunt, Sumner Township Supervisor - are notified of such reviewing of apportionments as aforesaid, and be heard with respect to such special assessment and your interests in relation thereto, if you so desire.
Any owner or person having an interest in the property, in order to appeal further, must file an appeal to the Probate Judge within 10 days after the confirmation of the special assessment roll. The tax tribunal may not take jurisdiction over the special assessment appeal unless an appearance was made at the public hearing held to confirm the special assessment roll. This may be done by personal appearance or by letter.
