HPV: What women need to know

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases in the U.S. HPV infection can have few or no symptoms; a majority of those infected may not even be aware that they have the virus. What do you need to know as a woman? As a mother of teen girls?

On Wednesday, March 17, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Jan Russell, R.N.C., B.S.N., O.G.N.P., of the Center for Women’s HealthCare, will share simple facts with you that can protect you from infection and even save your life or the life of someone you know.

This presentation is part of the Carson City Hospital Brown Bag 2010 Lunch Series. It is free and open to the public. Free refreshments will be served. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Conference Rooms near the main front lobby inside the hospital.
